Bilingual German/English VAT Specialist

Your role

You will work closely with the Consultants in our firm and especially with the German-speaking team. Your role will consist of:

• Overseeing the preparation and submission of VAT returns, Intrastat declarations, etc.., to the German-speaking tax authorities where our clients are represented;
• Providing assistance in the area of intracommunity VAT, for preparation and filing reclaims on behalf of our clients in Europe;
• Maintaining contacts with the German-speaking tax administrations in order to follow-up the progress of our files
• Monitoring changes in the area of VAT in Europe;
• Collaborating with our subsidiaries in Europe in order to process their clients' files

Your profile

We are seeking a professional experienced in the domain of VAT, with successful experience in a lawyer firm or a company in an international environment and willing to give his/her career a new boost in a dynamic and multicultural team.

The ideal candidate should be:

• with tertiary education in law, accounting or economics,
• complemented by training in taxation and specialization in VAT;
• Bilingual German and English languages, fluency in French is not a prerequisite;

This high value-added position will allow you to evolve quickly within the firm.

Salary: between 35000 and 50000 €
