We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to drive customer success, provide technical expertise, and support the deployment of our metrology and inspection solutions.

As part of the Application team, you will experience working with major actors in the global semiconductor industry. You will gain hands-on experience across the entire product life cycle, from pre-sales to post-sales, and interact with our R&D, engineering, manufacturing, and service teams. As an Application engineer, your main responsibilities will include providing technical expertise and application support to customers worldwide, both remotely and on-site.
- You will be responsible for installing, testing, and validating UnitySC equipment and software both at our headquarters and customer facilities.
- Analyzing process data, troubleshooting technical issues, and proposing innovative solutions to improve performance and process efficiency will also be part of your role.
- You will participate in or lead demonstrations, evaluations, and technical presentations to showcase UnitySC’s technology and value to customers.
- Supporting customer training, preparing technical documentation and BKMs, and ensuring effective knowledge transfer to local teams will be essential.
- Additionally, you will act as a key link between customers and internal departments, sharing feedback to guide future product developments.
- This position offers an opportunity to develop strong technical expertise, gain international exposure, and contribute to the advancement of semiconductor manufacturing technologies.
- International travel is required (~20% of the time).
Profile
- Master’s degree in optics, materials science, physics or a similar field with proven experience in planning, execution, and analysis of measurement processes. A PhD is a plus.
- Experience in the field of semiconductor(-fab) would be beneficial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and meet scheduled deliverables.
- Adaptable in dynamic, customer-driven environment.
- Strong analytical aptitude and problem-solving capabilities
- Professional level in English and French
